US comedian Kevin Hart has warned kids "not to drink" after he accidentally swore on live TV and attempted to storm the podium with the Philadelphia Eagles at this year’s Super Bowl.

Hart, 38, was captured trying and failing to get up on stage with his beloved team as they were presented with the Lombardi Trophy for their defeat against the New England Patriots on Sunday night.

He was stopped by a burly security guard who pushed him away before he was later seen being kicked out of the commentary box after crashing an interview and accidentally saying “f***”.

Hart has now explained his drunken antics on Instagram, where he told fans he was warned not to cause a scene by his wife Eniko Parrish.

Speaking in the short video he said: “To all the kids out there I just want to say, don’t drink. You know when alcohol is in the system you do dumb stuff.

“Me trying to go on stage with the trophy is definitely in the top two stupidest things I’ve ever done - but who cares the Eagles won the Super Bowl. Yeah I’m still a little tipsy, but the world can kiss my a***.”

He continued: “My wife was the first one to say, ‘babe, don’t go up there’. I said: ‘Honey chill out I got to be up there with my city’. It didn’t work out.”

Speaking about the moment he was denied entry by a security guard he said: “That man did his job. He said: ‘Kevin Hart I know who you are, but you can’t be up here’. Who gives a s***. Go Eagles fly!”

Hart captioned the post with a string of hashtags in which he blamed his friends for getting him drunk, revealed he had been sick, and claimed: “At least I didn’t punch a horse.”

The comedian was mocked online for his antics with one joking that he had “made this the greatest Super Bowl in the history of the world”.

Other stars celebrating the Eagles’ win included Chrissy Teigen, Ellen DeGeneres, Nick Jonas, Will Smith and Sylvester Stallone.
