Katie Price has said she can’t believe her son swore on live TV after she warned him to watch his language.

Price, 37, took her eldest son Harvey onto Loose Women to discuss the online abuse he has faced from trolls – but he accidentally dropped the c-bomb.

Harvey, 13 – who was born blind and suffers from autism, ADHD and Prader-Willi syndrome – told viewers that he would say “Hello you c****” to anyone who made a nasty comment about him.

Panicked panellist Andrea McLean quickly apologised, saying: “OK, we apologise, we apologise for that, but this is one of the reasons why we wanted to do this live.”

Speaking on Up Late With Rylan about her shock at hearing him swear, Price said he usually wouldn’t understand how to respond when asked how he would tackle verbal abuse.

“He must have planned it in his head,” she told host Rylan Clark-Neal. “Normally if you say to him ‘if people are horrible to you what do you say?’ he doesn’t understand and he’ll probably say ‘can I have a blueberry muffin?’

“I have no idea what was processing in his head. They wanted to do a pre-record but I said I don’t want to hide who he is but I promised them he wouldn’t swear.”

The former glamour model said she was left in disbelief after he dropped the swear word as he had promised to not use bad language.

She said: “Before we went on air I said, ‘Harvey no swearing’, and he said, ‘Yes mummy’. I just can’t believe it.”

But despite turning the air blue, viewers defended the young teen with one tweeting: “Love Harvey, he is a credit to you and it’s a shame that these evil people have nothing better to do.”

Another posted: “I think Harvey is amazing, the people who bully him are disgusting. Harvey you rock.”

Piers Morgan also slammed those who have targeted Harvey and told them to pick on Price and himself instead.

"Show a bit of humanity," he said. "I see a lot of people troll me. I'm big enough and ugly enough to look after myself. Same with Katie. But when it comes to Harvey, he can't get on Twitter and respond to these clowns. Have a go at me or Katie, we can take care of ourselves. Don't go after this boy or people like him who are defenceless and can't defend themselves."

Price later praised "true gent" Morgan for the "great" way he interacted with her son.
