Katie Price has posted a series of cryptic Instagram messages about ‘haters’ hours after her son appeared on Loose Women.

Price, 37, invited 13-year-old Harvey onto the ITV chat show to discuss the online trolls who have targeted him with abusive messages online.

The teenager – who was born blind and suffers from autism, ADHD and Prader-Willi syndrome – was praised by viewers after he told Price that he would respond to anyone who made a nasty comment about him with: “Hello you c****.”

Following the appearance, Price appeared to hit back at those who have made comments about herself and her son.

In an un-captioned post on Instagram she shared the quote: “Someone who hates you normally hates you for one of three reasons.

"They either see you as a threat. They hate themselves. Or they want to be you.”

She later followed it with another in which she seemingly admitted to making mistakes before insisting that she has learned from previous bad choices.

“I’ve made mistakes in my life,” the quote read. “I’ve let people take advantage of me, and I accepted way less than I deserve. But I’ve learned from my bad choices and even though there are some things I can never get back and people who will never be sorry. I’ll know next time and I wont settle for anything less than I deserve.”

Price said she wanted to bring Harvey on live TV over a pre-recorded segment so that people can see what he is like 'unedited'.

But his accidental swearing saw panellist Andrea McLean apologising.

“OK, we apologise, we apologise for that, but this is one of the reasons why we wanted to do this live,” she said.

Piers Morgan was also on the show and praised Price before slamming those who had hit out at Harvey online.

"Show a bit of humanity," he said. "I see a lot of people troll me. I'm big enough and ugly enough to look after myself. Same with Katie. But when it comes to Harvey, he can't get on Twitter and respond to these clowns. Have a go at me or Katie, we can take care of ourselves. Don't go after this boy or people like him who are defenceless and can't defend themselves."
