Caroline Flack has asked for “privacy” in the wake of rumours about the reason behind her split from Andrew Brady.

The Love Island presenter called time on their whirlwind romance, and engagement, earlier this week, telling fans “it was not to be”.

Rumours Brady had been unfaithful surfaced, while others accused him of being fame hungry.

But Flack has since hit back, appearing to deny the reports.

“I’ve revealed nothing,” she tweeted. “We wish each other well... Please please just give us our space and let us have some privacy right now thanks x.”

According to The Sun Flack reportedly told friends she felt “used” by the former Celebrity Big Brother star.

A source told the publication: “I really tried to help him and support him, but I feel he just used me. He’s fame hungry.

“Caroline doesn’t wish any ill on Andrew. She loved him and tried to protect him.

“She just doesn’t understand why he’s done this.”

The couple were hit by cheating rumours at the start of their relationship after a woman alleged she had kissed Brady. He denied the allegations.

Flack and Brady met in January following his stint on Celebrity Big Brother. She recently opened up about the start of the romance, telling fans in an open letter that she “followed” him on Instagram.

Writing in Cosmopolitan, she said: “I saw you on TV before we’d even met. ‘WHO is that guy?’ I texted my friend. ‘Oh, some man who was on The Apprentice, I think,’ she replied.

“I followed you on Instagram and you followed me back with the simple, emotionless line: ‘Thanks for the support.’ (I now know, of course, it took you hours to come up with that!).

“It made me laugh so I gave you my number. A few days later, we met.”
