Caroline Flack reportedly ended things with Andrew Brady because she “thought he was cheating on her”.

But new reports claim that Flack told pals that she did believe he was unfaithful to her, and reportedly added: “I really tried to help him and support him, but I feel he just used me. He’s fame hungry.”

A source told The Sun: “Caroline doesn’t wish any ill on Andrew. She loved him and tried to protect him.

“She just doesn’t understand why he’s done this.”

Another insider added: “Caroline is heartbroken. She believed Andrew was The One, but now she believes he was using her.

“It’s a horrible situation, especially when she’s in the middle of hosting Love Island. Andrew began to treat Caroline very badly and became totally toxic to be around.”

Friends also reportedly claimed that Flack was supporting the former The Apprentice star financially but the trust between them was gone.

Flack, 38, confirmed her split from Brady in an emotional statement to The Sun earlier this week.

She said: “I’m sad to announce that Andrew and I have decided to part ways. Unfortunately it was not to be.

“I wish him all the best. At least there’s a Villa waiting for me. It’s back to the ol’ grafting.”

Brady, who met Flack after his stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house, also posted a statement confirming their relationship is over.

Writing on his Instagram story, Brady said: “Sad to announce Caroline and I have decided to part ways.

“Unfortunately it was not meant to be and I wish her all the best in the future.”

Standard Online has contacted representatives for Flack for comment.

Quoting an article, Flack later tweeted: "I’ve revealed nothing. We wish each other well...

"Please please just give us our space and let us have some privacy right now thanks x."
