Craig Revel Horwood has voiced his fears over Peter Andre’s time on Strictly Come Dancing.

The 50-year-old judge said Andre, 42, is missing the “it” factor and could be close to being booted off.

“Sorry to say it but Peter’s becoming a bit of an also-ran in the competition,” he told the Daily Mirror.

“Technically, he’s very good but he needs to stand out from the crowd more.”

He continued: “I’d be worried if I were him. He’s missing the ‘It’ factor – and I want to see him fly not fail.”

Andre - who is partnered with professional Janette Manrara - topped the leaderboard on the first week of this year's competition following his quick step to Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse's Valerie.

Revel Horwood, praised his timing which he deemed "absolutely excellent" while Bruno Tonioli dubbed the routine "imaginative".

But he failed to impress the judges with his rumba to Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud on Saturday night and finished with 29 points.
