In what was a dramatic live final, Molly Hocking was crowned winner of The Voice UK 2019.

Up against Deana Walmsley in the 'final two' – slimmed down from four, earlier on in the night – her performance of I'll Never Love Again clinched her victory.

"Someone pinch me," she said of her win. "All I can say is 'thank you'. From the bottom of my heart, I am so, so... I am shocked."

Turning to her mentor, Olly Murs, she added: "I am so, so glad that you have stuck with me through this. You are my inspiration."

At the beginning of the show, she had wowed audiences with her solo performance of Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi – a song which left her in tears.

"For such a young age, for you to have this much experience, ten years from now I can't even imagine how awesome you're gonna be. Because you're awesome now," will.i.am said of her performance.

She later took to the stage with Olly Murs for a duet of Simply Red's Stars.

Fellow finalist Deana's performance of Adele's Hometown Glorymade will.i.am 'tear up', whilst Jimmy Balito's solo performance of Tina Turner's Simply The Best earned him unanimous praise from the judges, with will.i.am saying, "I salute you. You're a fantatbulous human being."

Fourth finalist Bethzienna Williams also impressed. "You blow me away, each and every time," judge Jennifer Hudson said of her rendition of Call Out My Name by The Weeknd.

The finale also included a live performance of Gimmie Some Lovin' by all four judges – Jennifer Hudson, Olly Murs, will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones – and an appearance by last year's winner Ruti, who sang her new single 'Racing Cars'.
