Tony Hadley has hit back at accusations that he bullied Lady Colin Campbell off of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

Lady C’s exit from the jungle camp was announced this morning with an ITV spokesperson citing a "medical condition" as the reason for her shock departure.

It was later claimed by her agent, Mike Hollingsworth, that an injury she suffered in camp was “exacerbated by a certain amount of bullying she has been receiving by two particular campmates”.

But a spokesperson for Hadley dismissed the allegations telling Standard Online: "These allegations are pure fantasy - the whole nation has witnessed how Lady C has continually made vile and hurtful comments towards various campmates.

“To make accusations of bullying and biased editing is unbelievable and disrespects both the show, and the millions of fans who have tuned-in and voted night after night.”

A spokesperson for Bannatyne also hit back at the comments, telling Standard Online: “We have every confidence in ITV’s editorial judgements.

"We expect that viewers will have seen a fair and balanced portrayal of events and we all look forward to hearing Duncan and Tony’s side of the story when they leave the camp, just as we heard Yvette [Fielding] in her post eviction interviews.”

Tensions frequently escalated between Lady C, Hadley and Bannatyne, with the trio eventually agreeing to not talk.

The socialite branded Hadley a “chippy little oik” and Bannatyne a “vain old goat”.

On leaving the show, Fielding said she “never ever want[s] to lay eyes on [Lady C] ever again” and branded her "dangerous".

ITV will play out Lady C's departure at 8.30pm tonight on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
