West Indies pin hopes on Lara

13 April 2012

The weight of expectation again rides on the shoulders of Brian Lara as the West Indies faltered late on day four of the Fourth Test with South Africa in Antigua.

Chasing 323 to win, they rode their luck before late wickets left them on 101 for 4, with Lara ending the day five not out alongside Ramnaresh Sarwan (four not out).

South Africa declared on 215 for 7 in their second innings to set the testing target.

West Indies, who trail 1-0 in the five-match series, have not won since the opening game of their tour to England last year.
