Watford v Fulham

13 April 2012

(12 noon, Vicarage Road - live on Sky Sports 1).
Tickets: £18-£25 (£5 concs). All-ticket for Fulham fans: £18 (£5 concs)
Fact: Fulham last won at Vicarage Road in October 1971. On their last visit, goals from Ronny Rosenthal and Paul Robinson gave Watford a 2-0 victory in 1997
Recommended pub: Home: Salthill (Market Street); Away: Mac's Bar (Fearnley St)
With Fulham out of sight, the First Division spotlight falls on the minor placings, with Watford back in there as realistic contenders after getting their act together in the last couple of weeks. A victory over the Cottagers would do wonders for Watford's confidence for the rest of the season, but with only one defeat away from home so far this season, it's difficult to see Jean Tigana's men rolling over in this one. Fabrice Fernandes should return after suspension and Lee Clark is hopeful of overcoming an Achilles tendon injury. Taylor has his own problems with defenders Robert Page and Paul Robinson banned. Steve Palmer and David Perpetuini are set to deputise.
VERDICT: FULHAM STAND FIRM
