Warrington keep it in the family

12 April 2012

Ambitious Warrington are to reunite new signing Vinnie Anderson with younger brother Louis in 2008.

New Zealand Warriors back-rower Louis, 21, told the National Rugby League club that he intends joining his brother in Super League when his contract runs out at the end of the coming season.

Louis has agreed a two-year contract with the Wolves, who have signalled their bold intentions this year by securing the services of Great Britain duo Paul Johnson and Adrian Morley, in addition to the older Anderson brother.

"I've had a great time with the Warriors and I owe a lot to them for giving me my break in rugby league," Louis told the Warriors' official website.

"But I was really keen to play alongside Vinnie once again. We had a year together at the Warriors in 2004 and we were also team-mates with the Kiwis that year.

"We're a tight family and this is probably the last chance I'll have to play in the same team as him. It's really important to me."
