The unhappy atmosphere at the Lane brings to mind a Cabinet meeting about the Millennium Dome - a lot of finger pointing with all parties blaming each other. The chairman thinks the fans are affecting the players' confidence while the supporters are fed up with the chairman, the manager, the players and, probably, the smoke salmon bagels. George Graham's side have not lost at home in the Premiership this season but when you haven't kept a clean sheet for seven games, the last thing you want to see is the Liverpool bus arriving in N17.
