Symons ready for Palace return

Crystal Palace defender Kit Symons is poised to play his first game for over two months against Norwich on Saturday after finally recovering from a groin injury.

Symons has made just nine appearances after joining the club from Fulham on a free transfer in December.

But the Welsh international has returned in time for the Easter weekend, where Palace face two must-win games at Norwich and at home to Birmingham if they are to make the play-offs.

Manager Trevor Francis said: "I will give Kit another run out tomorrow."
