DAILY MAIL UNDER 18 VASE - Qtr-final:

Winger Jamie Ellis enjoyed one of his best days of the season by scoring 16of Churchill's points as they won a physical battle against Glyn 25-3 inBristol.

Churchill got the perfect start when they turned over Glyn ball afterjust two minutes and flanker Tom O'Shaugnessy scored near the posts. Themissed conversion was to be the only blot on Ellis's afternoon.

He made up for it by streaking three-quarters the length of the field for asecond Churchill try and made no mistake adding the points this time.

Glyn kicked their points before half time and battled hard to get back inthe game but Churchill, who boast many of the players who were SomersetUnder 16 champions last season, defended well and took a real grip with twopenalties from Ellis.

Prop Matt Truscott powered over from 15 metres and Ellis did thehonours with the conversion.

Churchill's opponents at Castlecroft on Sunday, March 11 will be King HenryVIII, Coventry.
