Schu: Ferrari deserve team crown

Michael Schumacher claims Ferrari would be a more deserving winner of the constructors' championship than Renault.

The Italian outfit trail their rivals by nine points ahead of the season-ending race in Brazil, despite both teams winning eight races each.

"In my opinion we deserve to win that title because we are the best team," he told his official website. "Nobody has got a better sense of solidarity than us. And now we want to take the next step and become champions."

He added: "One more test and one more race - then the season will be over, so of course everyone is gladly gearing up their last bit of strength for this.

"We want to try everything we can to win at least one title in Brazil."
