Runaway Wolves striking fear into Warnock’s heart

Crystal Palace and Watford were today fined £25,000 each by the Football Association for their on-pitch brawl in the opening game of the season.

Both clubs were severely censured and warned as to their future conduct after admitting they failed to control their players and officials during the goalless draw at Selhurst Park which saw every player became involved in a shoving match following a foul by Lee Williamson on Matt Lawrence.

Meanwhile, Neil Warnock fears Palace could be lambs to the slaughter against Wolves tonight. Palace have been torn apart by injuries following Saturday's 2-0 win over Swansea and have only one fit centre-forward, youngster Calvin Andrew.
Now Warnock admits: "We're going to have to be brave boys at Molineux if we want to give them a game.

"I don't know who we'll play up front. To be honest, I've looked pretty sharp in training and scored a cracking goal last Thursday so maybe I've got a chance."
