Ronnie's a world-class act

Ronnie O'Sullivan is still on course to become only the fourth player to win three world-ranking snooker tournaments in a row.

The world No1, hoping to equal the feat of Steve Davis, Ray Reardon and Stephen Hendry, sailed into the British Open quarter-finals with a 5-0 demolition of Stephen Lee.

His next opponent in Brighton, ranked 51 in the world, will be Andy Hicks, who fought back from 4-2 down to score a shock 5-4 victory over Ken Doherty. Defending champion Hendry takes on fellow Scot John Higgins today.
