Roenick can't stop Knights tumble

Two goals from top scorer Trevor Roenick proved insufficient as Sheffield Steelers continued their impressive start to the season with a 5-3 win over London Knights at the Sheffield Arena.

London trailed to goals from Brad Lauer and Chris Lipsett before Roenick and Mark Kolesar brought the Knights level at 2-2 by the end of the first period.

Kevin Miehm put the Steelers back in front and further strikes from Scott Allison and Jason Mansoff in the final period gave them a 5 - 2 lead before Roenick?s second goal in the last minute took his tally for the season to seven.
