Portsmouth v Wimbledon

13 April 2012

(3pm, Fratton Park).
Away ticket info: £14 (£7 concs). Dons fans can pay on the day
Fact: Wimbledon have never won at Fratton Park while Portsmouth have gone seven games without a win
Recommended pub: Good Companion (Eastern Road)
Suddenly Selhurst Park doesn't seem such a bad place after all as Wimbledon managed their second home win of the season last weekend with a 3-1 victory over Preston. The Dons, though, remain a far better bet away from their rented accommodation which is why they will be confident of knocking seven bells out of those Pompey chimes tomorrow. Dean Blackwell will have more reason than most to hope that the weather stays fine. He scored his first goal for the Dons in nine years during their midweek game at Notts County only for the game to be abandoned because of fog. Blackwell's only other goal in 246 matches for the club was in a 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday in 1991.
VERDICT: DONS DELIGHT
