Pardew's plea to fans

Alan Pardew wants the Upton Park crowd to play their full part in helping the team edge closer to an automatic promotion place over the next five days.

Another sell-out crowd will be there for the visit of Walsall tomorrow and Wimbledon are the visitors on Tuesday.

The West Ham boss, who will be without the suspended Matthew Etherington, said: "I don't want our fans to think six points are a foregone conclusion. I want the crowd to help us. The players will respond to that."
