Paphitis plays down Ince link

Millwall chairman Theo Paphitis today played down suggestions that Paul Ince is set to join his club.

The Wolves midfielder, 36, has been linked with a summer move to The Den, even though he is thinking about retiring at the end of the season.

Player-manager Dennis Wise hopes to make one signing this week. His side had Kevin Braniff as their only available striker during their 1-0 defeat at Reading on Saturday, and Wise wants three new players to challenge for promotion.
