Panicking Broncos to blame

London Broncos coach Tony Rea claimed panicking players cost his side victory against Widnes.

Two tries by Francis Stephenson and one from Scott Cram had given the Broncos an 18-12 halftime lead but Widnes fought back after the break to win 19-18.

Rea said: "It was a one-point ball game and we played like we were 30 behind. We just threw the ball away and pulled them into the game.

"We were playing with good ball control in the first half but in the second half it was awful."
