Rams and 49ers in a landmark draw

The San Francisco 49ers and the St Louis Rams tied 24-24 after normal time and overtime in the first drawn game in the NFL for four seasons.

Both teams missed potential game‑winning field goals in overtime with 49ers kicker David Akers putting a 41-yard attempt wide left.

Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein nailed a 53-yard kick that was called back five yards on a penalty and missed with his second attempt from 58 yards.
