Louis Oosthuizen today shrugged off his Masters heartache to play himself into early contention at the Malaysian Open.

The 29-year-old South African, who narrowly missed out on the coveted green jacket to Bubba Watson at Augusta on Sunday, shot an opening round six-under-par 66.

Oosthuizen (above) said: “I feel like I’m swinging it well and I think a lot of times I’m used to a lot of travel so you adapt quickly.”
