16 October 2012

Fed Cup captain Judy Murray has come good on her promise to perform the 'Sprinkler' dance in response to Heather Watson's first WTA singles title.

Murray had tweeted on the eve of Watson's final in the Japan Open that she would do the dance if the Briton was victorious. The youngster defeated Chant Kai‑chen 7-5, 5-7, 7-6 on Sunday to move up to 50th in the world rankings.

The 'Sprinkler' dance came to prominence when England cricketer Graeme Swann filmed his team-mates performing the routine as part of a regular video diary during the 2010-11 Ashes tour of Australia.
