Robin Goodfellow (Sam Turner) completed an excellent first season as Racemail's principal expert when emerging top of the national newspaper tipsters in the Racing Post winter naps competition.

Turner, who recommended 14-1 winner Fizzlephut as his each-way tip on Friday, showed a profit of £13.42 to a £1 stake on his daily nap.

Three of Racemail's supporting tipsters also showed a profit.

CAPTAIN HEATH (Colin Mackenzie) led the way with a haul of £17.79 on his nap. GIMCRACK (Brian Giles) ended the winter naps season with a 6-4 winning best bet, Lord Henry at Ascot, which took his positive final total to £7.62.

THE WIZARD (Marcus Townend) ended the season with a winner when giving Mendo and was £10.84 in the black.
