Moreau's misery is complete

Christophe Moreau, who was fourth in the Tour de France two years ago, abandoned the race after falling today.

Although the Frenchman, who was 41st overall, was not seriously hurt it was his fourth crash in this year?s Tour.

The Credit Agricole rider was also fined after fighting with Spain?s Carlos Sastre in the 12th stage.

Colombia?s Santiago Botero won today?s 15th stage while Lance Armstrong retained the overall lead.

Meanwhile, former Tour winner Jan Ullrich has been suspended for six months after testing positive for amphetamines.
