Millwall land £1m sponsorship deal

Leo Spall13 April 2012

Millwall today signed a three-year shirt sponsorship deal worth up to £1 million with utility network operator 24seven.

The First Division club will get at least £500,000 and will earn more from the company who manage the delivery of water, gas and electricity in London, if the team do well.

It follows Premiership Fulham agreeing a £2m, one-year deal with Pizza Hut and Second Division Queens Park Rangers signing a £100,000, 12-month deal with JD Sports.

However, First Division Watford are searching for a main sponsor after talks with a potential backer fell through.
