McGhee has eyes on final

13 April 2012

Millwall manager Mark McGhee believes his side are good enough to win the Worthington Cup this season and has set his sights on the final at the Millennium Stadium on 24 February.

First, though, the Lions have to get past Gillingham in their second-round clash at Priestfield tonight.

McGhee said: "I won't be resting players or putting out half a team because it's important that we win. We also have a league game against them in due course and if we can beat them in the Worthington Cup it will be an important psychological advantage."

Midfielder Steven Reid is still suspended, while Middlesbrough have asked the Lions not to include onloan midfielder Phil Stamp in case they need to use him in the competition at a later stage.
