Long has short odds

Sean Long, one of the St Helens players at the centre of a betting scandal, is a 4-1 favourite to win man-of-the-match honours in tomorrow's Challenge Cup final.

The scrum-half and team-mate Martin Gleeson are being investigated by the Rugby Football League over allegations they placed bets on Saints to lose a match against Bradford on Easter Monday.

But both have been selected by coach Ian Millward to face Wigan in Cardiff.
