Livermore makes plea for Millwall to leap up league

David Livermore has urged his Millwall team-mates to break into the Championship top six over the Christmas period.

The midfielder said: "This Christmas is especially vital for us. The top six of the table is very tight at the moment but we need to get in there and stay there."

Millwall host Ipswich on Boxing Day and travel to Derby two days later. They are set to welcome back captain Kevin Muscat after serving his three-match ban for his part in the tunnel fight with Sheffield United's Paddy Kenny during this month's defeat at The Den.
