Lipman poised for early Bath return

14 April 2012

Bath flanker Michael Lipman has not given up hope of playing again this season.

But he was due to have his plaster cast removed today, and is optimistic he could feature for Bath as the Zurich Premiership campaign reaches its finale.
"I am slowly starting physiotherapy treatment," said Lipman. "The physio reckons I could be back in under two months and be ready for the end of the season."
Lipman, his back-row colleague Andy Beattie (broken leg) and centre Mike Tindall (foot) are among the Bath players who will be sidelined for Sunday's Powergen Cup semi-final clash against Gloucester at Kingsholm.
