Leeds win is Kidd's stuff

Brian Kidd was the toast of Leeds when the bitterness shown towards their coach after Sunday's draw at Everton gave way to relief as they finally won their first match since New Year's Day.

A thunderous cheer echoed around Elland Road after last night's 2-0 win over Ipswich.

It took a freak Robbie Fowler goal and an Ian Harte penalty to end Leeds' misery.

Harte then led a posse of players, including Gary Kelly and Harry Kewell, towards the dug-out where they mobbed a delightedlooking Kidd in celebration.
