Leeds back Foxes stance on 'racist' fans

13 April 2012

Leeds chairman Peter Ridsdale has condemned the 'racist' behaviour by a section of his club's supporters at Filbert Street on Saturday.

Leicester chairman John Elsom contacted the Elland Road chief to protest over racist chants during Leeds' 2-0 victory.

Elsom said: "Leicester City does not welcome the racist comments by Leeds United fans."

Ridsdale agreed: "I totally endorse John Elsom's views. We will not tolerate racism of any kind."

Police are studying video footage as part of their investigation into the complaints.
