Langley scores as Jamaica win

14 April 2012

Richard Langley, who wants to leave Queens Park Rangers, made his mark for Jamaica today when he scored in his country's 2-0 victory over Paraguay.

Rotherham's Darren Byfield scored in the 10th minute before Langley netted his second goal in as many matches in the 27th minute when he capitalised on a defensive mix-up.

Jamaica, who are in Group A of the Gold Cup, open their campaign in that tournament on Sunday against South American champions Colombia.

Full-back Danny Murphy, who was released by QPR at the end of last season, has signed for Swindon on a month-to-month deal.
