Knights close in on Steelers

London Knights cut Sheffield Steelers' lead at the top of the Sekonda Superleague to five points with a 3-0 victory at Sheffield Arena.

Knights secured their third successive win with goals from Jay Neal, Neal Martin and Mark Kolesar.

Meanwhile, Knights were handed a favourable draw in the Benson & Hedges Cup semi-final when they were paired with Newcastle Jesters, whom they defeated 6-2 last Sunday.

The first leg takes place in Newcastle on 1 November, with the return at London Arena on Saturday, 11 November. Nottingham Panthers take on the Sheffield Steelers in the other semi-final.
