Kiwi openers in 231 stand

Lou Vincent and Mark Richardson shared an opening stand of 231 for New Zealand on the first day of the Second Test against India in Mohali.

Vincent hit 14 fours and two sixes in his 106 before falling to Anil Kumble. The Kiwis, 1-0 down in the series, were 247 for one at the close, with Richardson 102 not out.
