Jol: I want to finish my career in London

Martin Jol has revealed he would be happy to stay in London for the rest of his life.

The Tottenham boss is bringing the glory days back to White Hart Lane after leading the side to fifth place in the Premiership table for the second successive season while enjoying surging runs in the UEFA Cup, FA Cup and Carling Cup competitions.

Happy in London Town: Martin Jol loves life in the capital

Jol is the darling of the Spurs faithful and has become a cult figure with supporters as well as being widely respected by neutrals for his honest post-match opinions.

And the Dutchman admitted in the official Tottenham magazine, hotspur: "I love the life here. They say here 'born in England, live in England, die in England' and the last two could apply to me.

"I love to live in England. If i could have two passports, I would have British and Dutch. I'm proud I was born in Holland but I'm also proud to be here.

"When you think about it, my hometown is opposite Clacton-on-Sea. It's only a small distance."
