The loan of Real Madrid youngster Dani Parejo to Queen's Park Rangers could be the start of more deals with Europe’s top teams.

Chairman Flavio Briatore said: 'I have very good links with not just Real Madrid but also AC Milan, Juventus and other top clubs.'

Real deal: Daniel Parejo has signed for QPR on loan from Spanish giants Real Madrid

QPR said on Monday it had beaten teams including Arsenal, Deportivo La Coruna, Espanyol, Getafe and Villarreal to sign the 19-year-old Parejo, who scored 10 goals in 33 games for Real Madrid's second team last season.

'This is an incredible coup,' Briatore said. 'We are delighted to have agreed a deal to sign arguably the hottest prospect in European football.'

'It shows the benefit of having Flavio Briatore's contacts and we're indebted to him,' manager Iain Dowie said.
