- Andrew Flintoff's golden year is reviewed on Sky Sports 1 on Christmas Day (4pm) before Sky Sports 2 serves up its first course of live cricket later that night.
- Coverage of Australia v Pakistan starts from Melbourne at 11.30pm then early Boxing Day risers can tuck in and watch Freddie live when the Second Test between England and South Africa in Durban begins at 7.30am.
- Later that day West Brom will be hoping for some Christmas cheer as they attempt to haul themselves out of trouble in the Premiership.
- Birmingham attempt to continue their revival against Middlesbrough at 3.30pm on Sky Sports 1 but bottom side West Brom won't get any presents from Liverpool at 6pm.
- Channel 4 screen the big race of the day at Kempton when the top three-mile jump specialists meet in the King George VI Chase at 2.10pm.
- Azertyuiop looks the biggest threat to last year's winner Edredon Bleu, with triple Gold Cup winner Best Mate likely to be redirected to Leopardstown on 28 December.
- Rugby is centre stage on 27 December when London Irish continue their impressive run against struggling Northampton (Sky Sports 3, 3pm).
- Harry Redknapp's Southampton will be under the spotlight again as Liverpool make their second appearance in front of the cameras in 48 hours on 28 December.
