Hockey loses the money man

Financial director Martin Tolliday has quit despite the English Hockey Association still having failed to clear its debts.

Tolliday was credited with unearthing £700,000 losses at the EHA when he took up his post late last year, findings which resulted in an emergency bail-out from member clubs.

He will remain in position until the end of June.
