Giant step for Jon Wells

Jon Wells insists his Harlequins RL side have nothing to fear from Saturday's Challenge Cup opponents Huddersfield.

Quins were thumped 46-6 by the Giants at The Galpharm but got back on track by beating Hull last weekend.

Winger Wells said: "The only thing we can take into this game is confidence.

"We're very, very happy with how things are going. If we play smart, and with passion and confidence, then that can carry us through."

Wells, who is in his sixth year in the capital, reckons the prospect of winning trophies with Quins is making this season his most exciting at the club.

He added: "There have been a lot of years where we've not realised our potential.

"There is now a bunch of players here who all want the same thing. We've been talking about it for a while - now we're in a position to achieve it."
