Gerrard left fuming

Steven Gerrard admitted his side were guilty of complacency after allowing Portsmouth to snatch a 1-1 draw at Anfield yesterday.

Michael Owen put Liverpool on the way to the FA Cup quarter-finals but they missed a host of chances and Matthew Taylor grabbed the Pompey equaliser 13 minutes from time.

Liverpool captain Gerrard said: 'We thought we had the game won. I think they will say they were lucky to get a replay out of this.'

He was also disappointed not to get a penalty. 'The ref said the linesman felt he (Dejan Stefanovic) touched the ball but that doesn't matter if he's taken me out.'
