The governing body of men's tennis, the ATP, is to review this week's angry scenes at the Vina del Mar tournament in Chile before deciding whether to take action against the organisers.

Supporters pelted the court with plastic water bottles after their favourite, Marcelo Rios, was beaten by Argentine Mariano Zabaleta.

In April 2000, Argentina refused to continue a Davis Cup tie in Chile when local fans rioted over an unfavourable ruling.
