How to watch the F1 Australian Grand Prix: TV channel and live stream for third race of 2022 season today

Melbourne plays host to the third race of the 2022 Formula One season on Sunday morning.

It has been three long years since F1 last touched down for an Australian Grand Prix, although the paddock did at least turn up in 2020 before the race was abruptly cancelled due to Covid.

The world, thankfully, has moved on substantially since then and the grid heads Down Under for what is sure to be a fascinating race.

F1 have dropped four DRS zones around the circuit to ensure that overtaking levels can match the entertaining start to the new campaign, with Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc fighting for wins - and Lewis Hamilton off the pace.

With lights out at 6am BST, here are all the details for tuning in...

How to watch the F1 Australian Grand Prix

TV channel: The race will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and F1, with coverage on the latter beginning at 4.30am.

Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can tune in via the Sky Go app.

Highlights: Channel 4 will be airing full free-to-air race highlights at 3.05pm.

Live blog: You can keep up to date with the race as it happens via Standard Sport’s live blog.
