England vs Tunisia a great chance for Three Lions to start World Cup 2018 on the front foot

James Olley17 June 2018

England's slow start in Brazil four years ago saw their World Cup dreams end after just two group games, but Gareth Southgate's Three Lions have a great chance to get off the mark with a win this time around.

The England squad arrived in Volgograd on Sunday ahead of their first World Cup Group D match against Tunisia on Monday night, and Southgate's men are firm favourites to kick off the tournament with three points.

A clash against Panama follows before a potential group decider against Belgium, but England know they have a strong chance to pick up maximum points from their opening two matches before taking on Roberto Martinez's talented Red Devils.

Southgate will address the press on Sunday evening, and all signs point towards a strong start for the Three Lions with a settled camp and Harry Kane back fit and firing as captain.
