Wind blows Barnet off course

Seeking safety: Clovis Kamdjo gave Barnet an early lead

Giuliano Grazioli says Barnet will go for the win at Accrington on Saturday after their 2-2 draw with Oxford left them one point off safety in the League Two relegation battle.

Barnet twice took the lead, first when Clovis Kamdjo flicked in an 11th-minute free-kick and again when Mark Hughes's cross went straight in.

Manager Grazioli claimed his side's performance was worthy of a win.

"Three points were there for us to take," he said. "I think the wind played a major factor. We got pinned in our half a lot in the second half and couldn't really get out.

"But I can't ask for more from the lads, to play two games in three days is a tough ask and they showed a great work ethic and attitude. The first half was very good."

Barnet face a tough task at Accrington, who have won nine out of their last 10 home games.

Grazioli will be hoping Stevenage can do them a favour by defeating relegation candidates Northampton but he says his side cannot aim for a single point in the penultimate game of the season.

"We can't go into any game not wanting to win it," he said. "You can't go and rely on defenders looking to defend all day. The best form of defence is attack.

"Accrington has not been a great place for us in the past but if my players can show the attitude they've shown for me recently then I'll be more than happy."
