Pedro Obiang could be on his way back to Serie A, with three Italian clubs interested in the West Ham midfielder.

The former Spain Under-21 international joined from Sampdoria last summer but is not central to Slaven Bilic’s plans.

Obiang is open to a return to Italy and AC Milan, Fiorentina and Torino are all keeping an eye on the situation.

Milan manager Vincenzo Montella is keen but general director Adriano Galliani has indicated that the club are interested in a loan deal, while West Ham are looking for a permanent move and value Obiang at £5m.

Fiorentina were the first club to express an interest and director of football of Fiorentina Carlos Freitas said: “Everyone knows that we need a midfielder. We are working to buy one as soon as possible”.

Torino boss Sinisa Mihajlovic knows Obiang from their time at Sampdoria and believes the 24-year-old is suited to his team’s game.
