West Ham defender James Collins is set to miss the next three weeks of action after picking up a hamstring injury in Wednesday's victory over Tottenham.

Collins lasted just over an hour of the 1-0 win at the Boleyn Ground before being replaced by teenager Reece Oxford.

With Winston Reid having been out of action since early last month Collins has proven himself to be an able deputy, impressing alongside Angelo Ogbonna, and Bilic admits his absence is a cruel blow.

"James got injured on Wednesday and that is a big blow because he has been marvellous," he said.

"It's not one week or a few days, but it looks like he will miss three games."

James Tomkins and Reid will also be unavailable for Saturday's visit to Everton, which begins a challenging stretch of games that sees West Ham travel to Manchester United and Chelsea before hosting back-to-back London derbies against Crystal Palace and Arsenal at the Boleyn Ground.

Riding high off a final victory against rivals Spurs under the lights of their soon-to-be former stadium, the Hammers are now just a point of Manchester City in the fourth and final Champions League spot.

Bilic has urged his side not to dwell on their midweek success and focus on bringing European football to the Olympic Stadium.

"It was a great win on Wednesday, but we can't enjoy it, not even for a few days, because we have a game [on Saturday]," he said.

"We've put that game to bed and we're concentrating on Everton. It will give us even more confidence of course."
