West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has avoided a touchline ban after being fined for a charge of misconduct relating to his dismissal in last weekend's 2-2 draw with West Brom.

Bilic reacted furiously to Gareth McAuley's injury-time equaliser at the London Stadium and threw a television microphone in anger before being sent to the stands by referee Michael Olivier.

The Croatian, who described Oliver's performance as "awful" during his post-match comments, was aggrieved that a number of decisions had not gone his team's way late on against the Baggies.

Bilic was originally charged on Monday and has now accepted the standard penalty, along with his assistant Nikola Jurcevic.

An FA statement read: "West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic and his assistant Nikola Jurcevic have both been fined £8,000 after they admitted an FA misconduct charge and accepted the standard penalty.

"The pair were charged with improper conduct in relation to incidents in the 90th and 19th minutes respectively during the game against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday 11 February 2017."

Bilic has avoided a touchline ban for his outburst and will be free to take charge of his side's next Premier League fixture against Watford on February 25 as normal.

Meanwhile, the Hammers are set to make the most of their mini-break between games, having already been knocked out of the FA Cup, by travelling to Dubai for a warm-weather training camp.

West Ham currently occupy 10th place in the table with 13 games left to play.
